Kerry Katona slams Katie Price’s ‘let down’ hubby Lee Andrews after GMB ‘fail’

Katie Price’s best mate Kerry Katona has slammed the former glamour model’s new husband after he failed to appear on camera during their scheduled joint interview for Good Morning Britain.

In her latest column for The Mirror, Kerry explained that she hasn’t seen Katie recently and she’s worried about her bestie. The Atomic Kitten star said: “I’ve not spoken to Katie Price for a while and I have no idea what’s going on with her and her husband Lee Andrews, but I did see that he failed to turn up to a scheduled interview on Good Morning Britain.”

“Like the rest of the country, I was waiting for him to show, and I feel bad that he didn’t. What a big let down on national TV! How do you just miss a flight for something so important? I’ve got nothing but love for Kate and I just want what’s best for her, so I hope she wasn’t too gutted by his no-show.”

The former glamour model appeared on ITV’s Good Morning Britain on 12 May without her husband Lee Andrews as the pair were scheduled for a joint chat with the hosts.

She was asked whether Lee was arrested in Dubai, where he lives and was flying from, to which she replied: “No, they just said it to me in there! [Behind-the-scenes] So I just said to him: ‘Lee, apparently a British man has been detained. Can you just confirm it’s not you?’ Because I obviously know it’s not him.”

“He’s just done a voicenote back with laughing emojis [saying] ‘It’s not me’, he’s sending me pictures. He’s now at the airport, he’s on his way. He just didn’t make the flight. He’s coming over here to spend quite a few months now.”

“He’s been sorting out my visa, my international driving licence and he was flying from Muscat, flying from there.”

Since Lee’s no-show, Katie has seemingly issued him and ultimatum after speaking with her sister Sophie on her podcast. Angry Pricey warned Lee “don’t do that to me again” as the GMB interview made her feel “stupid and a d***.”

She said: “I said to him: ‘You’ve made me look a massive d***. You’ve made yourself look a d***.’ It’s now become a soap opera. Something from EastEnders, is he coming, isn’t he? Like, it’s all been built up.”
